THE STORY

Based on a true story that took place during the 1960s, a group of daring young seminary students were among the first in the country to be taken out of an all-male Catholic institute and placed in an experimental program on the grounds of a co-ed university.  Inspired by one of their teachers to break away from the confines the administration imposes on them, the students begin an idealistic quest to improve the lives of underprivileged in neighborhoods around their city.

In defiance of seminary rules, they are guided by what they believe in their hearts to be the moral imperative.  Along the way they struggle with the hierarchy of an institution that isn't ready to expand its spiritual boundaries and they clash against dangerous elements on the streets that don't appreciate their altruistic seal.
